Oil Level
| Mike | I put a front loader on my 2000D today,After adding hydraulic fluid for the loader and bleeding the air out I have about 1/2 inch of fluid above the high mark on the dipstick. Will this hurt anything or do I need to drain some??
| norm | That's good. Are you aware that the level is checked with the dipstick not screwed in?
| Mike | Yes, I just was concerned it would mess something up. I also have another question....There is a small container mounted on the top of the engine with a hose going to the intake ...What is this???and what should be in it?? |
| Danny | That is the header tank for the thremostart system. Diesel fuel. Danny |
| Mike | OK, what does it do ?
| Al | It provides a smidge of fuel for the glowplug to heat (when you turn the key to TS) to help start when it's cold out.
| Mike | Thanks
