Yanmar FX22D Oil service

Matt I just bought this Yanmar FX22D 4x4 with 26hp diesel and diff lock + power steering. The oil dipstick below the seat (between the feet) shows no oil at all. Could anyone please let me know what oil dipstick this is and what sort of oil goes in there? I have no owners or service / parts manuals so if anyone knows where I could find these, this will be much appreciated.
Jeremy I think the dipstick you are referring to is the dipstick for the trans/hydraulic fluid. If that is low or non existant the 3 point lift would not work or be weak. I am not 100% sure about the FX series as I have a YM series, they may be the same. Have you taken the dipstick out and looked inside? if you see gears in the trans/hydraulic. Replace with JD303 or similiar and make sure its for BOTH tranny and hydraulic. My YM2001 hold 4.5 gallons.
Al Google this:

Murray Publishing + Yanmar

Danny Some owners use ATF in the F models, I use hydraulic oil that meets JD303 spec. I have parts books for your FX22D.

Danny
