"TS" Bottle
| Jess | Is the "TS" Bottle hard to fill? Screw off top? I have not filled mine on my YM1810 but I probably need to. I'm in Central Georgia and have not had trouble starting, but if we have a real deep-freeze I will have a problem I suspect.

| Eric | On my 240D it pops off (like an old beer bottle cap) It also has a little chain going to the block so if you drop it.....

| Eric | Sorry for omitting important point. The bottle is a little hard to reach with a can or funnel to fill (diesel!). I found that a "bulb" type suction filler such as you would use for filling batteries with distilled water works very well.

| Chris W. | If you would like it to "self fill" go to a John Deere dealer and ask for one for a 950. The 950 engine is a Yanmar 3T90J. The injector return is routed through this bottle and then back to the tank. The Yanmar bracket fits fine and there isn't a cap on this one to leak or get dirt in, just the bottle. Advantage is you never have to fill it, it's always filled by the injector return line. Chris |
