YM 2500 - Transmission/hydraulic Oil
|Bob||Help - the JD dealer nearest me does not carry JD 303 transmission/hydraulic oil. Instead the dealer said it best to use the Hy-Gard brand.
Can I safely use JD Hy-Gard transmission/hdraulic oil in my YM2500?
|Al||Yes, it's a newer version.
|Chris W.||Why not just buy the stuff from Wall Mart for $25-30 per 5 gal and be done with it. Sure JD sells a great product, but don't think your tractor will know the difference.
|Al||I get mine from WalMart. Make sure it's their hyd/trans, not their hyd fluid.
