help!! i have a jd 770 w/YANMAR 3 CYL. DIESEL I AM TRYING TO GET RUNNING. ITS BEEN IN A GARAGE AND HAS NOT RUN FOR 2 YEARS. I HAVE FUEL GETTING TO THE INJECTOR PUMP.I TOOK THE LINE COMING FROM THE FUEL PUMP TO THE INJECTOR PUMP OFF AND BLOCKED IT WITH MY FINGER THEN HIT THE STARTER AND I CAN FEEL THE FUEL PUMP TRYING TO PUMP FUEL.THE FUEL FLOW INTO THE INJECTOR PUMP AND OUT THE OTHER END INTO A RUBBER LINE WHICH GOES TO THE FUEL TANK AND FUEL FILTER (RETURNS) BUT I CANNOT GET FUEL TO COME OUT OF THE INJECTER PUMP INTO THE LINES THAT GO TO THE INJECTOR.THIS MACHINE DOES HAVE A ELECTRIC/SOLONOID ACTIVATED FUEL SHUTOFF SWITCH THAT LOOKS LIKE ITS WORKING. COULD THEIR BE A MAIN SHAFT INSIDE THIS INJECTOR PUMP THAT LETS THE FUEL FLOW BE STICKING?

Fix your caps lock and maybe we can work on this. Have you bled all of the air from the line from tank to injector pump?

Oh, thats a good idea. Put your finger over the injector line. The fuel under HIGH PRESSURE will go smoothly into your body and you ll be knocking like a diesel...

Oh, ok. Sorry to be concerned for your safety. My YM is gravity feed to the pump so the pressure is ambient. After the pump its high pressure, well enought to inject fuel into your blood. Sorry to interfere. Sorry again, I ll leave now......
