Oliver 1850 tractor

Gina My 1850 Oliver has a steering problem. When your driving you have to keep turning the wheel to the left 1 turn every 3 or 4 turns. The temperature is good. Any idea how to fix this problem.
Whitney Miss Gina, sounds like a seal somewhere either in the steering piston or the steering pump is allowing the hydraulic oil to by pass the seal which is why the steering wheel has to be turned constantly. We had a Ford 4000 with the same problem and changing a seal in the steering piston cleared it up. Run the tractor, heat up the oil, then check for external leaks, if nothing develops, then their is a seal in the piston or the pump that is damaged. Good luck.
mike harrison interested in buying a 1850 oliver to restore and pull like to know who much does it wiegh and how wide does it measure. for hauling purposes
