Long 360 Dieing on Hills
| James Ford | I have a Long 360 that is acting up. The tractor is quitting when I go up/down hills and then will not start again with out pulling it to drift start. Then, sometimes it will straighten up and run fine for a while, but it always ends up dieing again. When it dies it is almost like it isn't getting any fuel. I drained the fuel tank looking for water and did not find any. I put new fuel filters on the tractor but that didn't help either. Anyone have an idea what is going on? I should probably also note that, when the tractor runs, it runs perfectly. I only have problems when climbing or descending hills. Any help would be appreciated. |
| mech | take the fuel cap of the tank and look in with a light make sure there is nothing in it that may be floating over the fuel hole when its on a hill. it may also need a new fuel pump,if it doesnt have one you might consider putting one on.electric fuel pumps are fairly cheap
