White Plows

Al Swigeon I have a chance to buy either a White 508, or White 588 plow. I just have 34 tires, I can easily pull a 4-18, might try a 5-18.. But what is the difference between the 508 and 588 plows?
oliverfan The 588 plow can be adjusted to 16" 18" or 20" cut. The 508 can be adjusted to cut 14" or 16". The 588 is a real heavy plow designed to be pulled by a tractor with 125 horsepower or more. The 508 plow was for smaller tractors and a better choice for regular farms.
Mike Kuyoth My 508 is pulling real hard. What do I have to do to adjust back wheel to pull easier?
