2-180 hydrolic system noise

Alan Bahnsen Posted message in Sept about system noise. Have since replaced the o-rings to the surge pump tubes, removed the filter head and checked per service manual purchased thru SSB. Experiencing what I would say is a chattering in the pressure side of the system. Seems to be most noticable in the return line from the pressure valve to filter head line. Suggestions as what to check next? Believe that noise is like the system is building pressure and constantly releasing.
Jerrod You need to check how much pressure you have on your outlets-should be around 2200 psi-if more you need to turn down the pressure-or your relief valve spring is getting weak, and you need to reshim it
Alan Bahnsen Using a guage, the remote outlets come up to 1450 at 800 rpm. Is there suggested rpm to be checked at? Also found that 2 of the hookups release pressure when the lever is released. Figure that I need to have rebuilt and then retest. Chasing hyddrolic leaks is getting old. Thanks for the ideas Jerrod. Local dealer was asked several times to test and figure out. Seems more interested in sell me parts to fix leaks!
Jerrod I think I might be able to help you. I just think it would be easier to do it over the phone to get a better idea of what is actually going on with your tractor. If you want, you can call me at 507-841-0788 anytime. Good luck-

Jerrod
