|Lee Fothergill||Hello All,
Once I purchase a HD-800 Engine, what additional parts are required to fit this engine to my 1951 MM-GB? I understand an adapter plate is required and because I'm using gasoline a different type of carb. may be needed. Does the drag link, frame rails, hood, and so on have to be lengthened? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
|Steve||I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY MADE A 1951 GB AL SAYERS BOOK INDICATES THEY STARTED MAKING GB'S IN 1953,
THE SERIAL NUMBER INFO INDICATES 1955-1959 I DON'T KNOW IF THEIR WERE MILITARY OR WAR MODEL GB'S?
