Need help installing 800 Engine into MM-GB

Lee Fothergill Hello All,

Once I purchase a HD-800 Engine, what additional parts are required to fit this engine to my 1951 MM-GB? I understand an adapter plate is required and because I'm using gasoline a different type of carb. may be needed. Does the drag link, frame rails, hood, and so on have to be lengthened? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee Fothergill

Steve I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY MADE A 1951 GB AL SAYERS BOOK INDICATES THEY STARTED MAKING GB'S IN 1953,
THE SERIAL NUMBER INFO INDICATES 1955-1959 I DON'T KNOW IF THEIR WERE MILITARY OR WAR MODEL GB'S?
