|David Knapp||I have a massey ferguson 165 1966 model. It has a perkins diesel. Oil is being blown back out the tube where you check the oil. I dont think it is normal? How do I fix the problem? The tractor has plenty of power, and I can not detect diesel fuel in the oil.
|Big Dean||That is usually caused by excessive engine piston blow-by it will usually have a lot of blow-by coming out the crankcase breather also when it is blowing oil out the dipstick. If you do not have a lot of blow-by coming out the crankcase breather tube check it to be sure it is not stopped up. If I can be of further help Email me.
