Brake drum removal on Massey Ferguson 35
|Larry Cushen||Trying to replace lug nuts on a '63 Massey Ferguson 35. Having trouble getting the brake drum off. The is two counter-sunk brass screws in the brake drum. Are they designed to be drilled out and replaced or will they back out with the right kind of influence? Do they just hold the brake drum on the axel or do they serve some other purpose also? Thanks for any help with this problem!
|GEEBEE||They just hold the drum on, they can be a little stubborn sometimes, you need a good fitting screwdriver, good pressure and vicegrips on the driver, give the drum a couple of good belts with a hammer often helps.
