MF 200 loader lift cylinders
| Tim C. | Hi, trying to rebuild my MF 200 loader boom lift cylinders and was able to get cylinder off loader and remove thread cap to find what is called a "bearing" that seems to be pres fit into the casing... does anyone know how to get the press fit bearing out of the casing? do i even need to take this out? thanks very much for the help!! | John | Tim, I had a bad leak in one of my boom cly. The problem I had was the lock nut for the seal was bent and would not pull the seal in tight. It went to a hyd. shop for new O-rings then I had a new lock machined with a bit longer nose to help push the seal. The nose on the new lock ring was about 1/4 + into the end of the cly. that was three years ago and it has not lost one drop since. I think the bearing is not more than a seal and the lock ring makes it tight and controls the slop o the ram. hopr that helps |
