MF 399 2wd Trans Hydraulic fluid

Terry Blackburn I am trying to learn what type of transmission fluid to use in a MF 399 and how much? Also is there a way to check it?

massey man there is a dipstick at the back of the tractor over the right hand side half axle.we use 10w 30 farm universal in the back end of both our 300 series masseys .shell harvella 10w 30
