mf35 water pump.how do i dissamble the pump.can't get the pully & shroud off the old pump.

finally got the shroud off(rusted).i am assuming the pulley & pump shaft are a press fit.have it in the hydraulic press now under pressure.might break the cast iron pulley trying to remove it.any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Everything is pressed on, we don't mess with those things , just install a new pump, if you are trying to install the pulley on a new pump that doesn't have a pully you will have to use a puller to remove it.

hey geebee,thanks for the reply.already ordered the pump.did not know it came without the pully.will try the large puller tomorrow.

George, you can buy them with or without the pulley.
