removal of power steering ran
| I.L.HEBERT | I CANNOT REMOVE THE POWER STEERING RAM FROM MY 283 MASSEY TRACTOR. ON THE STATIONARY END OF SHAFT THERE IS NO WAY TO REMOVE PIN THAR HOLDS THE SHAFT IN PLACE |
| I.L.HEBERT | I NEED TO INSTALL PACKING IN THE POWER STEERING RAM AND CONNOT DISCONNECT THE STATIONARY SHAFT FROM YHE HOUSING.I DONT KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE PIN THAT HOLDS IT IN PLACE

| Peter Seville | You have to remove the bracket (bolted to the frame) and knock out the pin from the under side. I just did this today after much head-scratching! |
