MF 20 Ind help
| JasonG |
Just purchased a MF 20 ind tractor with a mf 32 loader, 3 cyl. perkins gas, 2050 hrs (sat unused for a couple years). Im have in a hard time finding info and parts. I was told this tractor was based off the MF 135, True? I have done a complete ignition tune up and disassembled and cleaned carb. revs up and runs out good but idles kind of rough and irratic. It also decelerates like it stalled or is sucking alot of air still but picks back up at idle speed and idles irratic for a few seconds. Also how do I check fluid level in loader? Any idea on years manf? Any help or Info on this tractor is greatly appreciated, Thanks

Yes Jason, the MF 20 replaced the MF 2135 as the industrial equivalent of the MF 135 AG tractor, many of the parts are interchangable, you should be able to get anything you need through AGCO if this site don't have them. The AG3 152 was known to idle a little rough but you should check the air cleaner, good fuel flow to carb may also be still gummed up someplace with sitting, may also just need a good workout possibly valves sticking. Loader depends on if it is driven from a front mounted hyd pump (frame used as reservoir) or internal pump (using same oil as tranny etc). If you are lucky the ID plate will still be on the dash giving ser.# from which we can establish year.
