MF 50H

Ray Can you please me know what type of Hydrulis oil goes into a MF 50 H backhoe.

craig I have a 50c backhoe that takes tractor hydraulic oil for the hydraulic system and the transmission. It is available at most parts stores such as napa or autozone.
Mike Bell I own a 50H backhoe loader. I just changed all the fluids and found out I can use most transmition/ hydraulic oil found at most tractor stores. I think it should say both words on the container to work and more tractor stores know that and will sell you the right stuff. I have two questions for you, first why can a get a good service manual, second Can you turn on/off the 4 wheel drive. There is a red button by the key switch which I think might be the 4 wheel drive on/off button, not sure.
