|Randy V.||I have recently purchase a used tractor with the starter solenoid removed. I have got the new part(solenoid) but not sure how to wire it properly. Any ideas? I need battery to solenoid, solenoid to starter and starter switch to solenoid.
|James Allen||The contacts of the solenoid should be in series with the battery + to starter. The coil of the solenoid is in series with any safety switches and the start position of the ignition switch.
