| GREG | I HAVE A 16 HP(7 SPEED)LAWN TRACTOR. WHEN PULLING A HILL IN 6TH OR 7TH GEAR IT POWERS OUT. ON LEVEL GROUND 6TH & 7TH GEAR SEEM TO WORK PROPERLY. GEARS 1-5 WORK FINE. I HAVE INSTALLED NEW DRIVE BELTS BUT THAT DIDN'T SEEM TO HELP. COULD IT BE THE TRANSMISSION OR IS THERE AN ADJUSTMENT ON THE TRANSMISSION.
| Jack | the belts need to go thru a break-in peroid and they should seat themselves into the pulleys,if after a while they still don't obtain full range of speeds, you will need to adjust speed control, this should be in your manual,if you don't have a manual e-mail me with address and I will copy pages needed for adjustment and mail to you Jack
| Greg | Could you please send any info on adjusting the speeds. Thanks!
