I need a craftsman snowblower attachment #24839 for my 18 HP Craftsman Lawn Tractor #917252711. Does anyone have a used or reduced price one? They are discontinued and not made anymore. Please help.

check www.sears.com its on the web site and also in 2003 attatchment booklet at sears stores. It's probably seasonal,only available in winter.

Ed, I am looking for the same model snowthrower for my tractor (different tractor #917.272066). I did some research and found that all of these are manufactured by Agr-Fab for Sears. I called them and they said these were exclusive for Sears and you had to buy them from Sears (no other outlets for them). These seem to be $1099 list price and I agree that these seem to be somewhat pricey for what they are. I only paid $599 for my 24" walk behind snowblower and that has the 8hp motor included. I tried investiagting discounts at the Sears store and the best they could advise was 10% off if I used my Sears credit card. Let me know if you have found one or get any leads. Thanks, Bruce
