Sears, Roebuck 58" wing reel mower approx 1960's

My wife was given this old mower just as a "toy". Not in to bad of shape. Got it running right of and she drove it around the shed a couple times. Problem is: manual that I have doesn't show the linkage connection from the carburetor to the throttle. Any help would be appreciated. Model No 136.8480 electric start

| Joe | The 1st thing to do is see if you can locate a mod# tag on eng,tractor too old & nothing shown for parts list at sears site,eng may be a lauson(pre tecumseh)tecumseh or briggs,if eng a lauson/tecumseh mod# will probably begin with 143,if a briggs will probably be 500,once you find out eng mfg you can get an L head service manual for eng from local mower shop or ebay,local dealer may also be able to cross ref eng#/eng mfg,the carb linkage & throttle setup will be covered in manual in carb/gov section.
