x 475 vapor lock?
| John | After mowing for about an hour my 475 will die or run very rough, if it dies it starts right back up but will die right away again. the temp guage does not read hotter than normal, and i have cleaned the air screens and blew out the radiator and tranny cooler. any idea's? it has done this for the last two months it takes me three tries to mow my lawn.

| rcbe | try loosening the gas tank cap and then running the unit the next time it cuts up like that - may be a air supply restriction in the cap vent.

| John | It finally quit raining long enough to test the gas cap theory, it was a no go. it still does the same thing. But i am almost sure it is fuel related. When it dies i can choke it to restart it and it will run ok for a little while. Any idea's? |
| rcbe | if nothing further here, might try reposting the prob over on: http://www.mytractorforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 |
