troy-bilt junior Model M26790

Troy I have my grandfather's original troy-bilt junior tiller. I still use it every spring and fall for my garden. While running the tiller, the choke always seems to have to be in the half-choke position even after the machine has warmed up. Additionally, this winter I would like to rebuild the motor and carburetor. Do you have any idea where I can order the parts necessary to build these items. Finally, if anyone knows where I can obtain a repair manual for this machine, I will be ever so grateful. Thanks...
rcbe for engine repair help, look for/find the engine's ID/Model plate (info sometimes stamped in the engine sheet metal shroud)- get the make/model/serial number - go to the engine mfgr's website to either download a free repair manual if offered or where to purchase same.
Joe Goto ebay & search item# 380158801207 see if it matches your's,if not type troy bilt manuals in search & see if any in listings that do,while at ebay if eng a tecumseh or briggs, type eng make plus manual in search and buy a service/repair manual for eng either paper/cd,most/all eng repair parts can be ordered thru a local mower shop or online dealers.
max troy unless your just looking for project to do this winter,my advise would be to replace the engine.not sure what you have tecumseh or kohler.check the throttle shaft for play also before starting it may be wore to much.we have replaced many this year rather then rebuild much, cheaper and better i think.i replaced them with an engine called Yamakoyo and have not had a problem.
i think habor freight has an engine that is as good called greyhound.good luck
