Cub Cadet model 1811.........any good?

Don	I have a chance to buy a Cub Cadet model 1811 that looks like new. And supposedly runs like new. i would like some of your opinions on this tractor. Are they as good as the Cubs from earlier times? This model here is from the 1980s, and has 660 hrs on it........hydrostat and hydraulic deck lift,and 18 hp. bontai Joe	These are true gaden tractors, and were made after IH sold off the Cub Cadet line. Not sure if MTD was quite in the picture yet. But when MTD took over, they basically built Cubs like the IH people did for the first few years (the good way).
Don	Thanks Bontai Joe.........im happy to hear that somebody else thinks that the older cubs are good tractors.......i used to have a model 100 and put a 12 hp kohler in it cause the 10 hp was smoking........it was a 1964 model.....i never should have gotten rid of it.............but i am going to look at a cub 1811 on saturday supposedly like new...........wish me luck......Don

Don	Thankyou Bontai Joe, i went about 330 miles to Kansas last night from here in Arkansas and picked up the cub cadet 1811 this morning.........has 670 hours on it, in really nice shape and came with 2 mowing decks in real good condition..........i already mowed about 2 acres since i got home.........Don
