Fuel tank on John Deere

T Allen Im sure I have a leeking fuel tank. Cant figure out how to remove it to replace it. Is there somewhere whre i can find an exploded drawing of the tractor to figure it out. Thanks
T Allen Its a L108 Lawn tractor.
bontai Joe You can go to Deere.com, and click on parts. You need to register, but after following the prompts, you can do a model search for L108 and come up with exploded drawings and part numbers. By adding the parts you need to your shopping cart, you will also get list prices and availability before committing to purchase.
T Allen Thanks, Found the part but the exploded view only shows the assembly not the tractor. Im trying to figure out how to remove to without destroying anything.
bontai Joe Not sure about the "L" series, but on the older tractors, the easiest way to access the fuel tank was to remove the rear fender tray, which typicall was either 4 or 6 bolts plus unplugging the seat switch and rear lights if equipped with them.
