White Outdoor tractor wont start. Does turn over
| chris | Used tractor last week. It's a LT1500. It was fine. During the week, mice had buried themselves all inside the engine and brought in debris to make nest etc. I have cleaned out as much debris as I can see. I pulled off air filter and top portion of engine to take everything out. Spark is good. Fuel line is pushing fuel. When I start I get good power in the engine cranking over. If you have air fitler off you can see the fire and attempt to "go". But the enginge doesn't turn over and start. Just good cranking power but nothing after that. Battery good. Spark plug good. Fuel line good. Any suggestions? Money is tough and my grass is already 9 inches long from all this rain!! thanks Chris |
| rcbe | mice love elect wire insulation - sorta like a hershey bar to them. Get a pro to look at yer unit - looks like there will be some ignition system troubleshooting... after this take a cuppla sheets of clothes dryer softener sheets and put up around the top of yer engine after shutting down- mice can't stand 'em. Just don't forget to take sheet back out bewfore you fire up again. |
