B & s 18.5 ELS engine wont start
| Red | Got a new battery, lights work, electric start dead as a door nail. The blade engagement switch clicks. any suggestions Thanks in advance Red |
| Joe | Check wiring harness for blown fuse,if none found,jump across 2 large terminals on starter sol,if starter cranks eng either sol bad or problem in safety sw's(clutch/brake,pto,netural safety,parking brake)if starter doesn't crank eng when jumping sol,problem in cables to sol & starter or starter motor,also check for a clean tight connection for neg cable to chassis or eng block.
