MTD_RANCH KING_SNOW PLOW

al cookerly I have had a Ranch King lawn tractor handed down to me when my father passed on. The model# and serial # are pretty well wiped out-if I remember correctly he purchased it from Quality Farm & Fleet in the late 70's or early 80's. It still works well, been maintained well. My question is-he had purchased a 42" snow plow trip blade from another machine-used-with plans to attach it to the Ranch King. Will this tractor stand up to plowing snow, or should I just use it for mowing? 12 Hp Briggs eng,7 speed transmatic,38" mower deck. I would appreciate any info you could give-Thanks
bontai Joe A 3" to 6" snow? Maybe... A 10" or more snow? Probably not. I don't know what kind of snow storms you normally get. One clue is to look at the rear wheels. If they are held on with 5 lug bolts, the tranny is more heavy duty than if held on by a single clip/pin/or single center bolt.
Brian May I am trying to find a snow blade for my 1996 MTD RanchKing lawn tractor,14.5 hp,7speed, 47"cut. Do you have any Ideal where I might find one?
