I have a 4630 with the larger backhoe. I have less than 350 hrs on machine. Unit is 8yrs old. It sat for 3 years while I was in Iraq. I have been home for over a year. I had to have all the spools rebuilt because they leaked like crazy. Kubota rebuilt them even though they were out of warranty. As the BH is like new. The said the O rings were torn up! I have since had to have them rebuilt again.$700. My old kubota BH I had for 10 years and had no problems. Has anyone out there had this problem?

If Kubota rebuilt them once and could not warrentee the repair sounds funny. Yes they should last a lot longer. It seems the quality repairs from some dealers are suspect, my dealer does good work but not all dealers do.

is this a bh90 model(four point mount) or the bl4690(three point mount)? in either case check for a restriction in the outlet line.(sharply bent or kinked hose) if it is the bh90 make sure both hydraulic quick coulpers are fully engaged. also make sure on this model your 3 point is in the fully down position.(since the 3point is downstream and if it is trying to raise will cause a high pressure on that outlet line the same as a restriction
