Kubota L245DT Oil pressure
| Kaye | I believe I have a missing cam plug from what I have read thus far.I am just unclear as to where to start. What exactly has to be removed before I can get to the timing gear cover. I have read that the front axle has to come off and.... I have no service manual so any help from those who have been here would be helpful |
| farmm | I have an IT manual and it says yes the front axle has to be removed. I will scan in a couple of pages of this procedure and send it to you. Just give me a little while to do this. a couple hours at the most.

| farmm | Have you checked the oil pressure with a manual gauge, my idiot sensor went out and also led me to believe my oil pressure was low. I checked the pressure with a gauge and it was fine.

| charlie | Kaye, first thing is as farmm says. Verify with a mechanical guage. Missing plug and oil pressure runs between 10 and 15 lbs. Cam has two plugs. Front and rear. Front plug requires you to pull timing cover. Rear plug requires to pull the cam.(removing the cylinder head, lifters etc.You can Email me and Ican walk you through the procedure.Would take up too much space on this sight to do so.
