engine killing

Mike jehlicka My L3430 has 600+hrs.on it,the problem I am having the engine appears to have a fuel issue.I have had it to the dealer can not find anything wrong.Fuel tank checked, electric shut off checked, filters have been changed, Most of the time it starts right up and runs just fine then out of nowhere engine idles down or just quits all together.Only thought I have is there may be problem with air getting into the system. Can someone help me?
Bob_M Not familiar with the L3430, however, if it has the clear plastic cover over the fuel filter, when it starts to sputter, look at that cover and see if the fuel level is dropping. If so, your assumption is correct and you have air in your fuel line. The next steps would be the fun one's. Trying to determine where the air is entering. It could be from a pin hole in your fuel lines, a seal in your fuel filter cover/petcock, a loose fitting clamp holding your fuel line anywhere or a bad fuel pump. Good luck with this one.
