Kyle Please help,

I just own an 1977 L225 kobuta, I recently changed the fluids, everything is fine until I shift into gears and nothing happen, I hear sounds like something is slipping, I am sure noting is broken.
Can someone tell me what is wrong? Help!!
Is it something I need to adjust, bleed???
