BX2200 turns over but still won't catch
| Mark S. | I have a 2000 Kubota BX2200 with 275 Hrs that will turn over and run if I hold teh key in the start position. As soon as I release the key to the on position, the engine dies. I have checked the Fuel Filters and they appear O.K. I also checked the Fuel (lift) Pump by removing the line from the top of the second fuel filter, and when I turn then key to the on position fuel comes out. I also checked then the fuel stop solenoid and it retracts when the key is in the on postion. Does have any other ideas of things I could check? Does anyone have a electrical schematic so I can check the key switch? Regards, Mark S. |
| Rick | Sounds like it could be a key switch not working in the on position. Also could be a fuse, or wiring going to the fuel shut off valve. The area would be close to the switch. If its running in start postition, then the wire to the shut off valve would be good, but could be the connection at the switch on the run side. |
| Mark Shufelt | Hi, Does anyone know if a 2000 BX2200 has a timer key stop and where it might be located. The parts breakdown shows it mounted just to the left of the flasher, but on my tractor there is not one mounted, just a threaded stud. |
| Jerry Alexander | Check all of your fuses. It sounds like the fuse for the fuel shut-off solenoid is bad
