L3400 HST hydraulics
| Bill Emerson | BH75 backhoe.LA463 loader.Everythings pretty much stopped working. The bucket will go down in float position. The backhoe won't do much at all.The tractor will move foward and reverse, but the stabilizers are down and won't go up. There is a unfamiliar sound coming from around the valve body where the hydraulic filter mounts, like the fluid under pressure but without using any of the levers. There is also fluid coming from around the control lever rods that go into the valve body of the backhoe. The levers that control the stabilizers are very stiff. Fluid level OK. Think maybe a valve in the hydraulic valve body may be stuck? Thanks in advance for any help. Bill |
| David Martinson | I have approximately 115 hours on my L3400 HST . I had sluggish hydraulics and added one gallon of super Kubota fluid. My question is that other than 3 point attachments the only thing I use is the bucket. Is that loss of fluid normal? I have owned it new since 2004. I see no oil on the ground. There doesn't appear to be any major fluid loss.
