B7800 speed selecter popping out excessively

I have a B7800 hyd, The speed selector is popping into neutral quite ogteh when in medium, will not go into high at all. It pops out of low often too. I replave a shear key on the exterior lever but there was nothing wrong with the key, The unit is about 3 years old, with 450 hours, and is used mostly for mowing and shuttling dirt, Does anyone have any experience or suggestions short of taking it to the dealer and coughing up $100's I can't offord, Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Spring for a shop manual. You need to get this fixed soon, since gears poorly meshing will damage the transmission.
