battery will not turnover

charliep when i have been mowing for a while and turn engine off my tractor will not turn over or start until i push the pto lever down maybe 2 or 3 times then it starts right up.i know it will not start with pto engaged.
Sam Sounds like the safety switch is bad or out
of adjustment on the PTO leaver assembly.
