Kubota BX22 Troubleshoot
| Ron McGill | I shut off engine and it will not start even with a jump from my truck battery. No previous problems |
| bob | Have battery charged & tested at any local auto parts store or garage. It's usualy a free service.
|
| DOG | Might wont to check all the gear shift do dads to be sure they are set for the tractor to crank. You may have a bad safety switch on one of the shifters, or pedals. |
| DOG | Forgot one, check the safety switch under the seat, you do have to be sitting on it to start. |
| Ron | The headlights, tailights, and directionals did not work even while connected with jumper cables to my truck. The flashers did work? I bought a batery charhers and charged the battery. After 4 hours charging at a low 2 amps, The lights worked. I am now waiting for the automatic charger to complete the charge before I try to start the tractor.
|
| bob | Even if you charge your battery it may hold a charge but soon as you put aload on it the battery will die again. It should charge for 24 hrs. on a 2amp. charger before testing.
|
| Sam | The lights should have worked when your truck was jump starting, even with a dead tractor battery. I would look at the age old thing of the ground cable not tight or making contact on the frame or engine, where it connects. |
| Leon | My father had the same problem with his BX24. The key switch went bad over the winter and allowed one of the solenoids to stay on and it drained the battery over night. Need to hear that loud "click" about 10 seconds after you turn the machine off or something is not right. -Leon |
| charliep | try pushing your pto lever up and down 2 or 3 times
