| Jay | I would appreciate any help or advice I could get on this: I'm considering buying a used GT 275. I know little to nothing about riding mowers, but have researched that J.D. equipment is very good. Anyone have any experience with this model (good or bad)? any advice? Thanks for your help Jay

| Troy | Bought a '97 GT275 in 2000. paid $2500 and feel like it was one best buys of my life. it's been a very good tractor, I take good care of it and it does me. It is actually broke down right now (first time ever) a pulley that drives the mower locked up, and I am not even upset about it. one of those things. I will get it fixed and keep using it on my 2 acres |
| Jeff | Jay: Don't know when you posted this original message (dates are not listed when I did a search for "GT 275"), but I bought a '97 GT 275 in 2004 when we moved to a new house w/1/5 acres. Paid $1,750 for it (it was a trade-in just sitting at a Simplicity dealer), and I couldn't be happier! It's a real tank, and I count myself lucky I found it.

| Ray | I hope I have good luck with mine. I just bought a house and the orignal owner sold me his GT275 with utility trailer for $800.00 !!! This thing looks great and I will test it out tomorrow. I cant wait.

| Jon | I bought a '97 GT275 in March 1997. I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE SINGLE PROBLEM! I mow 3 acres. I have used it to till the garden, blow snow, push snow, thatch, and spread fertilizer. I let the dealer service it once every winter and I service it myself about every 25 hours or so. I've never owned anything this long, so go for it. I'm getting ready to move to 5 acres, wife says I need to trade it in on a utility tractor, but I will probably keep it.
