|Joe||My four year old LX277 developed mushy pedals and the local dealer says it will be $800-$900 to fix.
I mow about 3/4 acre every week during the summer.I don't have 150 hours on this machine. Should I pay to get it fixed or buy a new MTD?
|Paul Farina||I would try an oil change first. I just did mine and used JD HYGARD. The pedals seemed firmer and the transmission much quiter after the change. The tranny is a Tuff Torq K62A. Visit their website they sell a rebuild kit for about $450.
