Info on selecting a tractor

Greg Chromoga I recently bought some land with only a few cleared acres(several 1/2 and 1/4 acre sites) I want to buy a tractor but I don't want more than I need. I'd like to have a front loader on something big enough to pull a disc and a brush hog. I'm planning to put in food plots for the deer and turkey. Any suggestions on tractor and model?
bontai Joe Since you are on the John Deere forum, I'll suggest some new Deeres, the 2210 4WD, the 790, and the 4010 4WD as a place to start. these machine all start at around $10,000 with no attachments and will do the work you described. If the budget is tighter, then I'd recommend looking for a Cub 5000 series, or possibly something used.
