I have a jd350 and the steering clutches have to be adjusted. The instructions I have say that the brake adjustment should be checked after the clutches have been adjusted. My question is should the brake be engaged or disengaged while the clutches are being adjusted, or does it matter. Thanks

the clutches must disengage before the brake engages. very important you will smoke the clutches if done wrong. what model 350 is it? A B C G
