Daryl KDaryl Kri	would like some input on repowering my 318. I have a 18 hs. Onan in it, but i'm leaning on going Briggs because of availability. I am not able to locate a new Onan replecement which would be my fist choice. I've been quoted Briggs,Honda, & Kohler, all with conversion kits. Has anyone tried one of them & was the conversion difficult? thanks
Tony Bachler	IN my years of working on The John Deere esp; the 318 It is the best garden tractor Built;and a lot of them still being worked. I would recommend staying with the stock Engine, ONAN; Rebuild it if at all possable; It will help keep it's value up; You have a piece of history and it's an investment. If kept Stock. Enough said.
