John Deere 5220 trouble starting

Rob I have John Deere 5220 tractor which has trouble starting. I thought it may have been the battery but I put in a new battery and am having the same problem. Cold weather would not be a factor has it has been around 80 the last few days.

When I turn on the ignition there are clicking noises but if I put jumper cables on the battery the tractor starts. I can then restart the tractor the next time without jump starting with cables. But the next day I have the same problem with the tractor not starting. I had someone from the local John Deere dealership look at it and he could not figure it out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

jeff What did they all try to do?

Do you have a digital volt ohm meter ? Is your problem fixed already ?
