JD 400 Hydrstatic Creeping

S Mikita	I have a JD 400. In neutal the tractor will creep in reverse. The only way to keep it in one place is to put the parking brake on and then you can hear it struggle against the parking brake. How do I adjust it so it won't creep? Thank you
bontai Joe	It can be adjusted, but it's best described in the Deere service manual that has lots of pictures. No special skills or tools needed, but more than I can explain here.
smikita	Where abouts can I find a manual for this? Public Library?
bontai Joe	I would think you would be VERY lucky to find one in the library. I don't know of a downloadable one, but you can buy one at this site we are on, or from your Deere dealer. Be aware that they are not a cheap book, but they will explain the workings and adjustments of the complete tractor with photos.
