John Deere 430 Question
| S Mikita | I just bought a JD 430 Diesel law tractor at an auction. I don't know if this is how they all are, but my steering wheel does not turn the wheels unless the tractor is running. Is that normal?

| Dave | It's possible the hydrostatic steering valve may have some internal wear. But without the engine running, the hydraulic system is not operating, so there's no hydro flow through the sterring valve to help with steering.
