john deere 445 starving for power

kevin hi i have a jd 445 2001 model year starts up fine seems to be at full power then engage mower and it seems to bog start to move foward and then it bogs down so i have to move very slow to mow help please
Tim W Try changing the spark plug. Mine had Champion.
I went to Autolite. Works great now.
