JOHN DEERE MODEL 180
| NICK DIMEGLIO | Hi, I took your advise and checked the seat safety switch and it is good. I did find the key switch faulty though and bourght a new one. It would not start the engine, in the start mode. All other indicators work on the (on) mode. so I had to cut the lawn and jumped the starter to get it going. I cut 1/2 the lawn and it shut off and I noticed the 20 amp fuse holder was extremely hot? I checked the transmission neutral switch and it works. what could be causing the unit not to start? Now all circuits are dead on the key swithc and the fuse did not blow? Plese help. Thanks Nick |
| NICK DIMEGLIO | Hi Again, Sorry,I failed to tell you my unit has a Kawasaki 17 HP engine in it and it is a manual shift. Can the fuse holder be faulty causing the holder to heat up? |
