1951 John Deere B oil filter bolt
| David Keys | After changing the oil and filter on my 1951 John Deere B, the cap will not tighten. The bolt coming down thru the filter is turning up at the top. It must be striped. How do I get into the tractor to fix it, I took the plate off to get into the rods but I cannot get to anything. Does anyone have any advise. Thanks a lot.

| John Flint | My 1948 John Deere "A" did the same thing. I put some washer on the bottom of the filter cap but need to do it right. If you find out what needs to be done please let me know. Thanks John Flint |
