|PMEEKMA||I HAVE A JD911 THAT WILL NOT START. I CHECKED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF. IT TURNS OVER IT HAS SPARK. NEW PLUGS.IT IS GETTING FUEL.PRIMED CARB. BUT NOTHING AT ALL. COULD IT BE TIMING?
|RJBT||It sounds like the same problem I had with my F911. Have you pulled the valve covers to make sure the valves are being moved? The Kawasaki engines in some vintages had fiber (plastic) gears on the camshaft. On mine, the gear teeth sheared and I got no valve movement. You just need to replace the camshaft (and any other parts it may have damaged) and you should be okay.
